Professors David Brownstone, Jan Brueckner, Linda Cohen, Fabio Milani and David Neumark will examine the role of psychology in the business cycle, California’s business climate, high-speed rail, nuclear power and airline mergers.
UCI’s School of Social Sciences studies contemporary issues affecting individuals, economies, societies and institutions at the local and global level. With expertise in analytic, computational and interpretive methods, as well as a tradition of multidisciplinary collaboration, the school seeks to improve the world through understanding human behavior. Its 138 faculty include 10 members of the National Academy of Sciences or the American Academy of Arts & Sciences.
