Michael T. Goodrich, Chancellor’s Professor of computer science and associate dean for faculty development in UC Irvine’s Donald Bren School of Information and Computer Sciences, has been named a Fellow of the Institute of Electrical and Electronics Engineers. Goodrich, who has been at UCI since 2001, is one of the world’s leading authorities in the fields of computer algorithms and data structures. The IEEE is the world’s largest engineering society, with more than 350,000 members in about 150 countries.
