A student-produced video invitation including a challenge to “play ball” with UC Irvine’s seven-feet-six-inch center Mamadou Ndiaye, and 10,000 postcards signed by Anteaters of all stripes involved the entire campus in the effort to woo the president.
Eric R. Spangenberg, a proven academic leader with strengths in developing students, faculty and community support, has been chosen as new dean of UC Irvine’s Paul Merage School of Business. His appointment is effective as of June 1.
The UC Irvine Libraries invite the campus community, alumni and the public to play AnteaterTag@UCI, a game in which contestants view and describe digital photographs from the Libraries’ Online Archive of UCI History. Participants will enrich what’s known about these historical images from the University Archives and contribute to UC Irvine’s 50th anniversary celebration in 2015.
