Senior residents protest hotel planned for homeless coronavirus patients, operator says it will be isolated and locked down

[Paul] Leon said there will be on-site staff, nurses and two security guards at all times. All the food will be brought into the hotel and personnel will be isolated. “I don’t see any interaction with any of the residents at all. We’re not going to be accessing any of the markets, service areas,” he said. “For us, the location is isolated enough and we can segregate that location completely. We can shut down that location.” He said there is already a hotel with a similar model in use near UCI Medical Center in Orange.
