UC Irvine study patients with renal failure experienced changes the composition of intestinal bacterial microbes that are crucial to staving off disease-causing pathogens and maintaining micronutrient balance.

A series of events will take place from Tuesday, Oct. 9, through Thursday, Oct. 11, as part of “Liberation Through Sight: Gaden Tsawa World Peace Tour.”

Three departments – developmental & cell biology, neurobiology & behavior and ecology & evolutionary biology – receive funding for 12 three-year graduate fellowships.
