On June 27, the Claire Trevor School of the Arts will launch its Summer Academy in the Arts for teens finishing grades 8 to 12. Through July 8, students will participate in intensive, hands-on workshops in dance, drama or digital arts led by faculty and graduate students. Courses within each “major” include ballet, modern dance and jazz dance; acting for the stage, improv and musical theater; and desktop applications, digital video and audio production for the Web, narrative shot structure and social networking issues.
