UC Irvine News Brief: Medical center's Darlene Bradley appointed to state nursing board
The director of emergency/trauma services was named to the regulatory panel by outgoing Gov. Arnold Schwarzenegger.
Darlene Bradley, director of emergency/trauma services at UC Irvine Medical Center since 2000, was appointed to the California Board of Registered Nursing by outgoing Gov. Arnold Schwarzenegger. Comprising four public members and five registered nurses, the board regulates and licenses state nurses. Bradley has been a supervisory nurse clinician for the National Disaster Medical System since 1984 and a faculty member at the University of Phoenix since 1995. She is a member of the American Association of Critical-Care Nurses, Emergency Nurses Association, American Academy of Forensic Sciences, International Association of Forensic Nurses, American Organization of Nurse Executives, National Association of Clinical Nurse Specialists, and American Heart Association. In 2007, Bradley received a Living Our Values Award from UCI Chancellor Michael Drake.
