Dourish elected to CHI Academy

Paul Dourish, a professor of informatics and computer science at UC Irvine, has been elected to the prestigious CHI Academy. The academy is an honorary group for researchers who have made substantial contributions to the field of human-computer interaction. Dourish, who also is an affiliate of the Institute for Software Research, earned the honor for his cumulative contributions to the area, his influence on the work of others and his development of new research directions.
