Alumnae win teaching awards

Two UCI graduates have received 2016 awards of excellence for their work as teachers at Success Academy Charter Schools, New York City’s largest network of public charter campuses. Delia Hong ’09, an international studies and political science alumna, and Foluwaseewa Lawanson ’10, who studied biological sciences, were recognized for their ability to improve student performance.
