Amazon Web Services has announced the second class of Education Champions, including Patty Morales, UCI vice provost for enrollment management. The AWS Education Champions program celebrates and supports influential and innovative individuals whose work accelerates the digital transformation of education with AWS services. Champions are nationally recognized speakers and authors who inspire the next generation of educational leaders.
Morales leads the offices of undergraduate admissions; financial aid and scholarships; the registrar; and enrollment management analytics, which leverages student data to uncover hidden barriers to student success and contributes to UCI’s data-driven student success initiative, UCI Compass. She has nearly 20 years of experience leading enrollment strategies that advance institutional goals and values.
According to AWS: “Morales has been a transformative leader in the field of higher education, nationally recognized for her innovative approaches to using data and analytics to support student success and improve the overall student experience.”
