Orange County Passes 6,000 Deaths For COVID-19

Andrew Noymer, an epidemiologist and UC Irvine [associate] professor of  [public] health, told City News Service  Wednesday …. “The January (death toll) is going to look an awful lot like the August (death toll) before it’s all said and done. The deaths look bad and I expect to see more of them by the time we close the books on January deaths, which will be mid-March,” Noymer said. “Omicron is less severe, but you can’t have hospitalizations in the thousands … without some deaths,” Noymer said.
