How COVID-19 has already overwhelmed hospitals in 2022
Andrew Noymer, [associate professor of public health], at UC Irvine [said], “Omicron is so contagious there will be a lot of people with omicron colds and there will be many people unfortunately in the hospital as well. … The best thing we can do is vaccinate and boost … [and] mask in public. I would recommend masking with a well-fitting N95, KN95 or KN94 mask. I believe you really need a better quality mask to send off these aerosol and droplet particles of the virus. … Having a mask that fits well is just as important as having one that says N95 on it. … If COVID is acting like a cold for you …. staying home from work however is an important aspect … for 10 days, not 5.”
