Doctors report “alarming” number of hospitalizations among pregnant people

In a study published earlier this month, researchers from the University of California, Irvine found pregnant people with Covid-19 had significantly higher rates of ICU admission, respiratory intubation and mechanical ventilation, and in-hospital mortality compared to pregnant people without the virus.
