OC hospitals, medical facilities hope to change minds of remaining unvaccinated employees in face of mandate

The push back from unvaccinated workers poses a dilemma for hospitals and other care providers, who must consider not just workers’ rights, but also how to create the safest possible environment for patients. Vaccination “definitely is about the individual person, and people have to make this decision for themselves, but health care providers are trying to help people understand it’s about the common community,” said Susanne Phillips, a nursing [clinical] professor and associate dean of clinical affairs at UC Irvine.
