UC finalizes policy requiring students and staff be vaccinated against COVID-19
The University of California system will require all students and staff to be vaccinated against COVID-19 to return to campus for the fall term, the university announced Thursday, July 15. … The UC system includes 10 universities across California — including UCLA, UC Irvine and UC Riverside — with nearly 300,000 students and more than 225,000 employees. The final policy came after several months of discussions with the UC community, the system said, with “strong support” for the vaccination requirement.
