UC Irvine, which enrolled the fifth most international students of California institutions last academic year, has 1,116 students enrolled in 2020 living abroad — and 899 of those students are in China. “My concern for our students is really, are they going to be able to get a visa to arrive on time,” said Anna Wimberly, UC Irvine’s director of international student services.
