Cal State Fullerton, UC Irvine plan vaccine mandate

California State University and the University of California said they plan to require faculty, staff and students accessing campus this fall to be immunized against COVID-19. The requirement is still in the planning stages and is conditional upon full approval of one or more vaccines by the Food and Drug Administration, the university systems said. Cal State Fullerton and UC Irvine are preparing to resume in-person instruction in the fall after a year of remote operations. UC Irvine has 36,303 students and 25,827 employees ….
