Most of us in Orange County were encouraged to stay home for much of 2020. Not them. Medical professionals such as nurse Giuliana Selvaggio, left, and nurse manager George Orate from UCI Medical Center and countless others were needed on the front lines in the battle against the coronavirus. The Orange County Register and our bearded friend from the North thank all those who care for the sick, scared and dying.
