“What we saw at Thanksgiving, it’s going to be worse after Christmas,” said UCI Health Dr. Sebastian Schubl. … They’re preparing for the worst here at UCI Medical Center building out a massive field hospital to prepare for the crush of patients. “We’re building it so if the time is needed, we can have up to 50 patients out here. As soon as maybe the end of the year if we are on schedule,” said Joe Brothman, UCI Health.
