COVID-19 seven times higher in OC than thought, UCI study says

UCI researchers sought to improve on the accuracy of blood tests by recruiting “subjects outside of a clinical setting” and by using “strategies to minimize bias of recruiting mostly symptomatic cases. … Tim Bruckner, a co-principal investigator on the survey and [UCI] associate professor of public health said, “”It seems a lot of people who had Covid didn’t even know they had Covid, so clearly they didn’t even know they were spreading it. That’s an important point.”
