Chapman University will start its school year remotely

Even as schools such as UC Irvine and Cal State Fullerton announced months ago their plans to start remotely, Chapman officials had said their smaller enrollment and class sizes would enable students to return to campus safely with the right preparation. Chapman enrolled some 10,000 students last academic year, compared to 38,000 for UC Irvine and 40,000 for Cal State Fullerton.
