Blum invited him to join her lab as a postdoc and even more excited when he was awarded a Fulbright fellowship to pay for it. “Since Professor Blum agreed to have me as a postdoc, all my life has been going in one direction, towards leaving Israel and moving to the US,” Eivgi says. “Suddenly, this took a weird turn.”
