Social distancing survey: 36 million Americans’ #1 way to cope is online shopping

Gerken, Merage School of Business, University of California, Irvine, writes, “I worry about the science behind the widely promoted six-foot social distancing rule. Trump’s experts say they are following the data and “science,” but I’ve never heard one point to a scientific study on how they came up with the rule. I guess that they are relying on their best hunches and task-force consensus. I did see one early study where the scientists pointing out how water droplets fell to the ground before six feet, but that was one study done indoors.”
