BACKGROUND: College Signing Day is a national celebration of all high school seniors and transfer students – especially those from low-income, underrepresented and first-generation backgrounds – who have committed to pursuing higher education. The University of California was selected by Reach Higher to co-host the 5-year-old initiative’s first College Signing Day event on the West Coast. Festivities will be held at UC’s nine undergraduate campuses.
