Chris Salvador of New Group Media who directed the 11-minute piece says he is proud to have had the opportunity to tell UC Irvine’s one-of-a-kind story.
“From the moment I stepped on campus, I felt a great affinity for UC Irvine,” he says. “It was a unique experience to capture beautiful images and stories in a picturesque setting. Spending several days on location with the admissions team made it even better.”
The student recruitment video was the only one acknowledged in its category and received high ratings for execution, creativity and content.
“Great creativity in production and post-production,” the judges noted. “Sweet introduction, great pacing in editing, great music integration and excellent quick cuts.”
UC Irvine Office of Admissions & Relations with Schools staff working with Salvador included Brian Jue, information manager; David Naimie, associate director; and Ronald Whitenhill, public information specialist.
