The UC Irvine School of Medicine has again received full accreditation from the Liaison Committee on Medical Education, the nationally recognized accrediting authority for U.S. and Canadian medical schools. Accreditation ensures that a program meets established standards for educating tomorrow’s doctors and confirms eligibility for selected federal funding. UCI’s medical school earned the maximum length of accreditation – through the 2016-17 academic year.
