Rankings for The Paul Merage School of Business’ programs continue to rise in U.S. News & World Report’s annual “America’s Best Graduate Schools” issue. This year, Merage’s part-time program placed in rankings for the first time at No. 24, and the full-time program shot up 15 places to 36. Elsewhere at UCI, the chemistry program ranked 26, computer science 28, physics 30, biological sciences 34, engineering 36, mathematics 43 and medicine (research) 47. The 2011 “America’s Best Graduate Schools” issue appears online April 15. Not all graduate programs are evaluated each year. In 2009, UCI’s literary criticism and theory program was ranked No. 1 and criminology 5.
