Stanislaw Jarecki, professor of computer science at UC Irvine, has received a $450,000 Faculty Early Career Development (CAREER) award from the National Science Foundation. Jarecki won for his proposed research, Secure Multi-Party Protocols, from Feasibility to Practice, which has a goal of designing cryptographic algorithms for a variety of secure tasks. The CAREER award is the NSF’s most prestigious award for newer faculty. The program supports early career development of teacher-scholars who are most likely to become the academic leaders of the future.
