Chancellor presents inaugural Living Our Values Awards

Establishing a new UC Irvine tradition, Chancellor Michael V. Drake presented the campus’s first Living Our Values Awards to members of the UCI employee community whose actions best embody the university’s values of respect, intellectual curiosity, integrity, commitment, empathy, appreciation and fun. In a private ceremony held in his office June 1, Drake gave honorees a crystal plaque and $1,000 to donate to a UC or UCI program, or registered charity.
