‘Show me the money’: Calls for action as California water board considers Salton Sea plans
Tim Bradley, who leads the Salton Sea Initiative at the University of California, Irvine, has previously made a similar suggestion of delaying the water transfers to ensure the state is able to keep up with its dust-control projects. But given the lack of support for the idea among state officials, Bradley said what he’d most like to see now is for the State Water Board to be proactive in dealing with the Salton Sea’s worsening problems.
