20 Facts About ADHD No One Ever Tells You
A study from the University of California, Irvine, found that there’s an unusual possible treatment for ADHD symptoms in children: therapy dogs. Two groups of children being treated for ADHD symptoms were compared, and the children who were given therapy dogs throughout their treatment did significantly better on tests of their attentiveness and social skills, though they showed the same results on impulsivity.

Words actually can hurt, according to UCI researchers’ study of political rhetoric
“If you want to perpetuate inequalities and make people feel … they don’t belong, continue with negative rhetoric,” said UCI anthropology professor Leo Chavez, who was joined in the study by Chicano and Latino studies associate professor Belinda Campos. “I think people know these things. But the point of our study is that we showed it statistically and scientifically. It’s not just hearsay. One is building this great ecosystem. … And the second thing is to make sure that college League of Legends is supporting the mission of universities, which is to take young people, provide them with some skills and send them out into the world so in that sense, how does college League of Legends make the world a better place? Those are my two big ideas: creating the perfect environment and making sure that environment is productive.
