Since the start of the pandemic, people have been working longer and working later. Microsoft Researcher Mary Czerwinski attributes this in part to the challenge of taking care of kids while working from home. UC Irvine Informatics professor Gloria Mark points to additional daily duties people are taking on, such as caring for family members.
