Orange County sees slight drop in COVID hospitalizations
The county’s COVID hospitalizations and infection rates have been jumping lately, leading one local epidemiologist to predict a new wave of the virus. “There’s another wave starting, I’m quite confident of it,” Andrew Noymer, an epidemiologist and UC Irvine [associate] professor of population health and disease prevention, told City News Service on Friday.
