Town Hall on Safety at UCI

Dear UCI community,

The vice chancellors of the Office of Inclusive Excellence and the Division of Finance and Administration invite UCI students, faculty, staff, and community members to a town hall forum on safety at UCI. Discussion will include the draft Presidential Campus Safety Plan (https://uci.edu/docs/ucop-presidential-campus-safety-plan-draft.pdf), which is now open for comment, and the actions associated with recent Public Safety Advisory Committee recommendations (Recommendations for the Transformation of Public Safety in the UCI Community). This will be the first in a series of town halls on campus safety.

We look forward to your participation on June 16 from 3 p.m.-5 p.m.

UCI members also are invited to provide their feedback to the draft Presidential Campus Safety Plan between now and June 30 at: UCOPFeedback@uci.edu or campussafety@ucop.edu. Feedback will be considered in advance of President Drake issuing a UC-wide plan this summer.
