Kaiser says Pfizer vaccine likely not cause of woman’s death at Cal Poly Pomona

On Saturday, Andrew Noymer, associate professor of population health and disease prevention at UC Irvine, said the vaccination process has not given cause for concern regarding reactions at large. “You expect deaths in the thousands in the normal course of events,” he said, referring to vaccines generally. “Even before the pandemic there were 3 million deaths (from all causes) per year,” in the United States, he said. “That’s a lot.”
