OC Increases Access to COVID Vaccines
UCI Health, which receives vaccines from the county as well as UC Health, hosted one of the first public vaccine distribution events at the Bren Events Center from Jan. 16 to 18. Healthcare workers vaccinated more than 2,700 patients ages 65 and older. It planned to host another event on Jan. 23 and 24; eligible employees and patients were to receive an email.
