Immunization means getting both of the shots at the proper interval,” said Andrew Noymer, an associate professor of public health at the University of California, Irvine. “That is what has been trialed in the clinical trials. That is what has been authorized by the (U.S. Food and Drug Administration). That is what I recommend. That is what the manufacturers recommend.”
