University of California system can no longer consider SAT, ACT results in admissions, judge rules

Several U.C. schools had already eliminated SAT and ACT scores from their admissions process, including Berkeley, Santa Cruz and Irvine. Others, including Riverside, San Diego and Los Angeles, however, had opted for the “test optional” policy.
