Goldstein, UCI vice chancellor for health affairs and Dr. Clayton Chau, director of the Orange County Health Care Agency write, “In mid-May, the University of California, Irvine (UCI) and the Orange County Health Care Agency (OCHCA) announced a critical partnership in the fight to control the spread of COVID-19. Together we are implementing a population-based study that will assess the prevalence of this virus through the testing of a representative sample of people across Orange County, which, with 3.2 million people, is one of the largest counties in the nation. … At UCI Health, we are moving through three steps to counter the pandemic: response, recover, and reimagine.”
