UC Irvine receives $2.5 million donation for coronavirus testing, treatment and research

A $2.5 million gift from a Fountain Valley-based philanthropic foundation will help UC Irvine “save lives, accelerate testing and advance vaccine development” for the coronavirus, university officials say.
