As Andrew Noymer, an associate professor of public health at the University of California Irvine told The New York Times, “Everyone desperately wants to be immune to this thing, and they’re projecting their hope onto the data.” But the numbers show… that nasty bug you got early in the year? It may have been coronavirus — but it probably wasn’t.
