Stanford develops ‘gold standard’ in antibody testing

“The point of doing a test for these antibodies is to look and see who has protected immunity going forward,” said Andrew Noymer an infectious disease and pandemic specialist with the University of California Irvine. … “The lock down bends the curve but it doesn’t make the virus extinct and so when we come out of lock down it is going to be crucial to have test information to see who is safe, and who needs to be taking very close care not get this,” said Noymer.
