Why Is Wisconsin Holding an Election During the Coronavirus Pandemic?
As Richard L. Hasen, an election-law expert at the University of California, Irvine, wrote on his blog late Monday, “It is a very bad sign for November that the Court could not come together and find some form of compromise here in the midst of a global pandemic unlike anything we have seen in our lifetimes.” Wisconsin is voting on Tuesday in an election that can be described as neither free nor fair.
