Opinion: Democrats Must Act Now to Protect the Election

“Congress should pass a law requiring states to offer no-excuse absentee balloting for the November elections,” writes election-law expert Richard Hasen, a [Chancellor’s] Professor of law at the University of California at Irvine. “Congress has the power to do so, and it should fully fund the efforts.
