Staff is feelin’ groovy at picnic
UC Irvine staff got into the groove during its annual picnic. This year’s theme, Zot Stock – Summer of Love, revisited the Woodstock era.
The sun was out and so were UCI staffers at Thursday’s Zot Stock – Summer of Love celebration in Aldrich Park.
The 21st annual event sponsored by Staff Assembly, honors the work of campus personnel. It featured a barbecue lunch catered by Newport Rib Company and contests such as best hippie constume, three-legged race, peace-and-love water balloon toss.
KUCI disc jockeys provided era-appropriate music to set the mood for the lunchtime event.
