UCI Libraries to host talk by NPR correspondent David Folkenflik
In talk, editor of “Page One: Inside The New York Times & the Future of Journalism” asks “How Can We Trust the News?”
Folkenflik is a four-time winner of the National Press Club’s Arthur Rowse Award for Press Criticism. He appears frequently as a media analyst on U.S. and British television news programs. A native of Laguna Beach, Calif., Folkenflik graduated from Cornell University with a bachelor’s in history and now lives in New York with his wife, journalist Jesse Baker. He is the son of Robert Folkenflik, UCI professor emeritus of English, and UCI humanities lecturer Vivian Folkenflik.
