The Humanities, Arts, Science & Technology Advanced Collaboratory has announced a competition providing $2 million to innovators in the field of digital media and learning. The third annual Digital Media & Learning Competition is supported through a grant to UC Irvine and administered by HASTAC, which was co-founded by UCI professor David Theo Goldberg. The competition invites designers, inventors, entrepreneurs, researchers and others to build digital experiences – the learning labs of the 21st century – that help young people interact, share, build, tinker and explore in new ways.
