Olson re-elected to water district board

Betty H. Olson, UC Irvine professor of civil and environmental engineering and associate director of the Urban Water Research Center, has been re-elected to the Santa Margarita Water District’s Board of Directors as treasurer. The board is composed of five members who are elected to four-year terms by residents living within the service area. SMWD, Orange County’s second-largest district, serves more than 155,000 residents and businesses in southern Orange County.
