Richard N. Taylor, informatics professor at UC Irvine, and two former doctoral students, Peyman Oreizy and Nenad Medvidovic, have received the International Conference on Software Engineering’s 2008 Most Influential Paper Award. The honor is presented at each annual ICSE conference to the author or authors of the paper from the ICSE meeting 10 years ago that is judged to have had the most influence on the theory or practice of software engineering since its original publication. The UCI group’s winning paper is titled “Architecture-Based Runtime Software Evolution.”
